Owner and Chairman, Blank Family of Businesses
Perhaps best known as the co-founder of The Home Depot, Arthur M. Blank is now widely recognized for his diverse portfolio of businesses. Named as one of Forbes’ 2026 Greatest Living Self-Made Americans and recipient of the 2024 Sports Business Journal Lifetime Achievement Award and the 2021 ESPN Sports Philanthropist of the Year, Blank is widely known for using purpose and profit together to benefit the communities around him.
His accomplishments have earned repeated recognition, including being named by Forbes as one of the World’s 100 Greatest Living Business Minds in 2017, Executive of the Year by Sports Business Journal in 2018 and listed among SBJ’s 50 Most Influential People in Sports in 2016, 2017, and 2018.
Mr. Blank has long had a deep love for Montana; its landscape and wildlife and its communities. After visiting Mountain Sky Guest Ranch with his family for years, he purchased the ranch in 2001 and has since expanded the AMB West portfolio to include West Creek Ranch, Paradise Valley Ranch and now Auster at Dome Mountain. In addition to the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, Blank’s portfolio of businesses includes the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons; MLS’ Atlanta United; PGA TOUR Superstore; Atlanta Drive GC; NWSL Atlanta 2028; and Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Since 1995, the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation has granted more than $1.5 billion investing in education, parks and green space, youth development, and community redevelopment. The Foundation also supports associate-led giving programs for all the for-profit businesses within the Blank Family of Businesses portfolio including the AMB West Community Fund.
