Food and Beverage Director
I was born and raised just down the road in Livingston, Montana, and it’s a privilege to welcome guests to a place that’s always felt like home. Before joining Auster, I spent nearly a decade as Executive Chef at Mountain Sky Guest Ranch. Prior to that, I spent ten years in New York City, working my way through the industry before eventually becoming part owner of a restaurant.
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to travel throughout the world, exploring different cultures and cuisines that continue to inspire the way I cook today. My beautiful wife, Yuli, and I also spend our winters in Mexico with her family, a place that has become just as special to us.
When I’m not in the kitchen, you’ll probably find me playing golf, hiking, traveling, or spending time with family. Someday, my dream is to retire to a small farm in Mexico with a couple of pet donkeys — I’ve even picked out their names already!
